If a double precision variable is assigned a single
precision
value,

the
first
seven
digits,
rounded, of the converted
number
will
be
valid.
This
is because only seven digits of accuracy were
supplied with
the
single
precision
value.
The
absolute
value
of
the
difference
between
the
printed double precision number
and
the
original
single
precision
value
will
be less than 6.3E-8
times the original single precision value.
