DESCRIPTION
1. Battery Level
LED
l
Green ON: The battery charge level is more than
30%.
l
Red ON: The battery charge level is between 10%
and 30%.
l
Red Fast Flash: The battery charge is depleted
and the unit will soon shut down.
l
Green Slow Flash (every 2 seconds): The battery
is charging.
l
Green Slow Flash (every 1.5 seconds): The device
is shutting down.
l
LED off: The device is powered off.
2. Read / Write
LED
During Wi-Fi disk mode:
l
Blue ON: Memory connection is successful.
l
Blue Flashing: Memory is reading or writing.
During cabled connection mode:
l
Blue ON: Connected to a USB host
l
Blue Flashing: Connected to USB2.0 and is reading
or writing.
3. Wi-Fi LED
l
Blue Flashing: Connection has been initiated and is
in process.
l
Blue ON: Wi-Fi is connected
l
LED OFF:
n
Device is ON, but the Wi-Fi signal is weak.
n
Device is OFF.
n
Device is in Mobile Mode but the Wi-Fi is off.

Internet LED

Green ON: Connected to the Internet via the
bridge.
l
LED Off: Not connected to the Internet.
5. USB Host
Port
l
Insert a USB flash drive or USB portable hard drive
for Wi-Fi access.
l
In Power Off mode, USB port can be used to charge
connected smartphone or tablet.
6. Reset Button
Insert a small tool (such as a paperclip) to press the
button and reset the device to Factory Default
configuration.
7. SD Card Slot
• Insert SD card for Wi-Fi access.
• Insert microSD card using appropriate adapter.
8. USB Device
Port

Use the included USB cable to connect to a
computer to enable data transfer.
l
Use the included USB cable to connect to a USB
port or USB charging adaptor to charge the device,

Turns the device on/off.
Charging MediaShare
Using the provided cable, connect MediaShare Wireless to a
powered USB port or USB charger to charge the built-in battery.
It may take up to 7 hours to fully charge the battery.
Installing Storage Devices
MediaShare Wireless contains no internal storage. You must
insert either an SD Card or a USB storage device before you
are able to use with your smartphone or table.
Note: Once your SD Card or USB storage device is attached,
MediaShare Wireless will reserve up to 200MB of the available
capacity for temporary files and other system functions.
Therefore, this space is not available for use.
MediaShare Wireless supports storage devices using FAT,
FAT32, exFAT (for SDXC), or NTFS file systems.
SD Memory Card
Locate the SD memory card slot. Insert the memory card.
Gently push the memory card all the way in until it locks
into place.
USB Device
Locate the USB host port on the device. Insert a USB drive
or portable hard drive cable into the USB port.
Using Mobile Devices
Installing the App
Power on your Android device
(smartphone or tablet) and insure that it
is connected to the Internet. Click on
the “Play Store” icon on the desktop to
access the Play Store.
Search and locate the free “MediaShare Wireless” app, click
on “Install” and follow the on-screen
installation instructions. Once the
installation process has been completed,
the “MediaShare Wireless” app icon can
be found on the desktop.
Note: Prior to installing the SD
Memory Card orUSB Device,
make sure MediaShare
WIreless is turned off.
Do not touch the exposed
connectors on your SD Memory
card.
