Controlling your Constellation Access Point with a computer
Your Constellation Access Point can be controlled through Veritas LED Control software via three
methods; WiFi, Ethernet, and USB. A brief description of each method is described below:
WiFi
If using WiFi, connect the included WiFi antenna to the WiFi Antenna SMA Adapter
and then to the WiFi SMA connector on the front of the Constellation Access Point.
Ethernet
If using Ethernet, connect one end of an Ethernet Cable to the RJ45 Ethernet
Connector located on the front of the Constellation Access Point and the other end
of the Ethernet Cable to the RJ45 Ethernet Connector on your computer or router.
USB
If using USB, connect the USB-B end of the USB A to B cable to the Constellation
Access Point and the USB-A end of the USB cable to your computer.

Constellation Access Point LED Definitions
There are a total of 9 LEDs on the Constellation Access Point. This section defines the meaning
for each of these LEDs. (Please refer to the illustration below for their location)
ON
The “ON” LED Indicator will illuminate when the switch is moved to the “ON”
position
PULSE
The “PULSE” LED Indicator will illuminate when the switch is placed in this position
and the LED head will run via a pulse which is generated either from the Constella-
tion Access Point’s internal timing hub or an external pulse coming from the “SYNC
IN” SMA connector.
STATUS
The “STATUS” LED Indicator has three modes:
Flashing Red: The Constellation Access Point is booting up - please wait.
Flashing Blue at 1 PPS: The Constellation Access Point is in GPS mode and GPS
access is available, or, a 1 PPS signal is present on the Sync-in SMA connector.
Solid Green: The Constellation Access Point is ready.
