3.3 CONNECT PC TO THE ROUTER
a.
Plug network cable to the Ethernet port of your PC (RJ-45), and then to the LAN port of
the Router.
b.
Start the computer. Check LED is green and indicating PC connected.
4 WIRELESS
NETWORK
(WiFi)
The wireless LAN and wireless security are preconfigured in the Router. Check LED is green to
indicate that wireless function is on, and the network is ready for use. If needed, press the WiFi
button.
WPA2-PSK encryption is set by default.
Wireless network name (SSID) and password are printed at the bottom of the Router. If you wish
to change the network name and password first log on to the user interface (5), and then
configure new security settings as shown below.
a. Open
Wireless
menu, and select
Basic

Set your SSID.
c. Click
Apply/Save

d. Open
Security
menu. Use WPA2-PSK if supported by your PC adapter. Set your network
key in
WPA Pre-Shared Key
. Otherwise use WEP (Shared). Then set your network key
in
Network Key 1
.
e. Click
Apply/Save
.
f.
Change wireless network Channel (optional) in the
Advanced
menu
.
g. Click
Apply/Save
.

a.
Launch your web browser, and then use
http://192.168.1.1
.to log on to the user interface.
