Lay out and identify all the heater parts.
1.2 Assembly Instructions
Step 2 Installing the Hopper Heat Shield.
Install (T) Heat Shield by sliding heat shield in between
the hopper and fire box so that the tabs are inserted into the slots of the hopper bracket. Insert from
Top down.
Step 3 Installing the Fire Grate and the Fire Box bottom.
. Install (J) Firebox Bottom in the (K)
Firebox. The diagram shows the (J) Firebox bottom at the top of the Firebox, but it is installed through
the ash pan opening and is bolted in place just above the ash pan. You will see three zerts in the front
of the (J) Firebox Bottom. This side goes on the same side as the door opening in the front of the
heater. The (J) Firebox Bottom is installed just underneath the Damper. The ½” flanges on the (J)
Firebox Bottom face down.
For use above 3,ooo feet in elevation be sure firebox bottom is setting at the lowest position on slots
and under 3,000 ft in the highest position on slots.
Deluxe Fire Pot-
Insert (XP) Firepot Bottom slides in from rear. Insert Firepot , Enter at slight angle push until flush.
Attach Large spring handle to pull rod. Easiest to twist it on clockwise until you can see it just past the
tight coils. Place large washer onto rod. Insert ½’’ Pull rod from rear and align with nut on firepot
bottom. Turn clockwise until tight. Test and pull rod ensuring there is nothing objecting its clean
pulling swipe. When pushed in fully the firepot bottom should stick out slightly from the firepot.
