Step 4 Installing the Stove Top Collar onto the Stove Top.
Slip (A) Stove Top Collar up from
underside of (B) Stove Top so flanges match holes in Stove Top. Secure with four 10/32” bolts and
nuts.
Step 5 Installing the Stove Top.
Place (B) Stove Top on top of (K) Firebox with the beveled edge
facing down on the front of the heater. Secure with twelve 10/32” bolts.
Step 6 Installing the Door Hinges and the Door.
Place (L) Door Mounting Bracket over mounting
holes to the left of the door opening on the (K) Firebox. The (L) Door Mounting Bracket has one end
that has a zert in it. This end goes up. Secure with two 10/32” bolts. Mount the (M) Door onto the (L)
Door Mounting Bracket using two ¼” x ½’’ bolts.
Step 7 Installing the Door Glass.
Place (Z) Pyroceram Windows between mounting bolts on the
back side of the (M) Door and two sides. Place (5) 10/32 bolts into each hole for windows. (15) Total.
Secure using five retaining washers . Banana shape retaining washers should face curve towards
bolts. Simply push on retaining washers while holding glass and bolts at the same time. Push until
holding glass firm to door.
Step 8 Assembling the Ash Pan.
Place the (P) Ash Pan Front onto the (O) Ash Pan with the holes
closer to the top up. Insert ¼ X 3/4’’ bolts into (Q) Ash Pan Handle into the holes in the (P) Ash Pan
Front and (O) Ash Pan and secure with ¼” lock washers and ¼’’ nuts on the inside. Slide the Ash
Pan into the Firebox on the shelves that are approximately 2” up from the bottom of the Firebox. Ash
pan Front is not universal. The Holes closer to the top side goes up.
Step 9 Attaching the Spark Arrester to Top.
Attach the (X) Stove Pipe Spark Arrester (stove pipe
piece with logo) to the (Y) Top Reflector using three 10/32” nuts and bolts. Bend tabs on (x) spark
arrestor 90 degrees out. Position over holes and bolt together.
Step 10 Assembling Stove Pipe and Installing on Stove.
Place (W) Stove Pipe on the ground
(non abrasive surface like carpet or rug). Start on one end and gradually connect two sides of locking
pipe. Work your way from top to bottom. Attach one (W) Stove Pipe to (A) Stove Top Collar with the
crimped end up
. Place second (W) Stove Pipe onto the first piece with the
crimped end up
. Push
down until secure.
Step 11 Attaching the Top to the Stove Pipe.
Place (X) Stove Pipe Spark Arrestor connected to
the top reflector onto the top of the second (W) Stove Pipe section. Push down until secure.
Step 12 Attaching Hopper Handle.
Using two ¼’’ x ¾’’ bolts Align handles with holes on sides of
hopper and secure with two ¼’’ lock washers and ¼’’ nuts.
Step 13 Attach Stove Base-
Attach (XZ)Stove base using four ¼-20 x 1/2’’ bolts and lockwashers
attach by inserting bolt into top holes on based and into pemmed holes on bottom of stove. May be
easiest done laying down on soft surface. Careful to not scratch stove until it is fully cures. . Attach
Washers to feet/glides and turn clockwise on bottom four holes of base.
Shutoff -
The stove is supplied with a hopper shutoff key and leather rope to attach to hopper
handle. This shutoff key is installed under the hopper through a slot. Ensure the key sits level with
