In menu mode select LCD Set and press the Menu button to confirm. The LCD Set
submenu appears:
• Brightness: Select “Bright” to enter the brightness adjust interface. Press the
Next or Prev buttons to adjust LCD brightness, and then press the Mode button to
confirm.
• Power Saving Mode 1: Select “Power 1” and press the Mode button to confirm. If
no buttons are pressed, the screen turns dark after 5 seconds.
• Power Saving Mode 2: Select “Power 2” and press the Mode button to confirm. If
no buttons are pressed, the screen displays nothing after 5 seconds.
• Normal: Select this option to cancel Power Saving mode.
4.8 Record
Set
For voice recording, set the recording type in the Record Set menu. When you enter
Record Set menu, the following screen appears:
• REC (WAV): High quality recording with good sound but the file is large. The
recorded file type is WAV.
• REC (ASF): Low quality recording with acceptable sound. Records for a longer
time with a smaller file. The recorded file type is ASF.
To record:
• In standby mode, press the REC button to start recording anytime.
• Press the Play button to save recorded files and enter Voice play standby mode,
as shown in the following screens:
• To pause the recording, press the REC button and to resume the recording press
the Play button.
To play:
• After saving the recording file, the player enters Voice play standby mode. Press
the Play button to begin voice play.
Note: In voice play standby mode, press and hold the Mode button to switch from voice
play mode to media file play mode.
