Off-line with no instance on the disk cache and one or more instances of a file on LTO
cartridges, all of which have been exported from the tape library.
Please refer to the XenData6 Server Administrator Guide provided on the SX-10 CD for detailed
instruction on how to configure these policies. The XenData6 Server Administrator Guide is also
available from the XenData web site (

).
2.10 Configuring the XenData Alert Module
Please refer to the Alert Module Administrator Guide for detailed instruction on how to configure
these policies. The Alert Module Administrator Guide is supplied on the SX-10 CD with the
system and is also available from the XenData web site (
www.xendata.com
).

3. System Power-On Procedure
3.1 Power-on the tape library
The library will start to initialize and will perform an inventory scan. This operation will take
approximately 10 minutes.
3.2 Wait until the Library is Ready
Wait until the tape library has completed its inventory process and the tape library indicates that
the Library is Online.
3.3 Power on the SX-10
Power on the SX-10 archive appliance by pressing the power button on the front panel and wait
for it to boot up.
3.4 Logon
Logon to the SX-10 using the following:
