Preparing the CRW3200IX Drive (Windows)

Turn on the power switch of the CRW3200IX drive.

When turning on the CRW3200IX drive, be sure that the LED on the front panel 

blinks blue and then lights purple. (P. 3)

Connect the CRW3200IX drive and the computer with the 

included IEEE1394 cable.

The included IEEE1394 cable has a 6-pin IEEE1394 connector at each end. 

Depending on your computer environment such as a laptop computer with a 4-pin 

type IEEE1394 port, an IEEE1394 cable with a 4-pin IEEE1394 connector at one 

end may be required.
