and/orthisunitmaybeexposedtoliquiddrippingorsplashing.Onthetop

Othercomponents,astheymaycausedamageand/ordiscolorationon
thesurfaceofthisunit.
Burningobjects(i.e.candles),astheymaycausefire,damagetothis
unit,and/orpersonalinjury.
Containerswithliquidinthem,astheymayfallandliquidmaycause
electricalshocktotheuserand/ordamagetothisunit.
Donotcoverthisunitwithanewspaper,tablecloth,curtain,etc.inorder
nottoobstructheatradiation.Ifthetemperatureinsidethisunitrises,it
maycausefire,damagetothisunit,and/orpersonalinjury.
Donotoperatethisunitupside-down.Theymayoverheat,possiblycausing
damage.
Donotuseforceonswitches,knobs,and/orcords.
Whendisconnectingthepowercable/ACadaptorfromthewalloutlet,
grasptheACplug;donotpullthecord.
Donotcleanthisunitwithchemicalsolvents;thismightdamagethefinish.
Useaclean,drycloth.
Onlythevoltagespecifiedonthisunitmustbeused.Usingthisunitwitha
highervoltagethanspecifiedisdangerousandmaycausefire,damageto
thisunit,and/orpersonalinjury.Yamahawillnotbeheldresponsiblefor
anydamageresultingfromuseofthisunitwithavoltageotherthanthat
specified.
Donotattempttomodifyorfixthisunit.ContactqualifiedYamahaservice
personnelwhenanyserviceisneeded.Thecabinetshouldneverbeopened
foranyreason.
Whennotplanningtousethisunitforlongperiodsoftime(i.e.when
goingonvacation),disconnectallACplugsfromthewalloutlet.
Besuretoreadthe“TROUBLESHOOTING”sectionregardingcommon
operatingerrorsbeforeconcludingthattheunitisfaulty.
Beforemovingthisunit,disconnectallACplugsfromthewalloutlets.
BesuretousetheACadaptorssuppliedwiththisunit.UsinganAC
adaptorotherthanthoseprovidedmaycausefireordamagetothisunit.
InstallthisunitnearthewalloutletandwheretheACplugscanbereached
easily.

Foraddedprotectionforthisproductduringalightningstorm,orwhenit
isleftunattendedandunusedforlongperiodsoftime,unplugitfromthe
walloutlet.Thiswillpreventdamagetotheproductduetolightningand
power-linesurges.
ThereisachancethatplacingthisunittooclosetoaCRT-based(Braun
tube)TVsetmightimpairpicturecolor.Shouldthishappen,movethisunit
awayfromtheTVset.
Donotusethisunitwithin22cm(9inches)ofpersonswithaheart
pacemakerimplantordefibrillatorimplant.
WARNING
TOREDUCETHERISKOFFIREORELECTRICSHOCK,DONOT
EXPOSETHISUNITTORAINORMOISTURE.
EvenifaniPhoneoriPodisnotconnectedtothisunit,thisunitisnot
disconnectedfromtheACpowersourceaslongasitisconnectedtothe
walloutlet.Inthisstate,thisunitisdesignedtoconsumeaverysmall
quantityofpower.
