How to connect a user-supplied Digital Set-Top Box
•
Connect DTV set-top ox video output to monitor COMPONENT (DVD/DTV INPUT) or to the monitor RGB1 (PC/DTV
INPUT) connector.
•
Connect DTV set-top box audio outputs to monitor AUDIO INPUT jacks.
How to use
1. Turn on the digital SET-TOP BOX. (Refer to the owner’s ,manual for the digital SET-TOP BOX.)
2. Press INPUT SELECT button on the remote control to select

- You can enjoy vivid picture and sound with connecting a PC with the Monitor.
- Avoid keeping a fixed image on the monitor’s screen for a long period of time. The fixed image may become permanent-
ly imprinted on the screen; use a screen saver when possible.
- Connect PC to the RGB1 INPUT(PC/DTV INPUT) or RGB2 INPUT(DIGITAL RGB INPUT) port of the Monitor after chang-
ing the resolution of PC.
- You can watch the RGB1 signal in other monitor by connecting RGB1 OUTPUT (PC/DTV OUTPUT) to other monitor’s PC
input jack.

Setup Instructions to Connect a PC to your Monitor
- If the resolution of PC is over UXGA, there will be no picture on the Monitor.
- Connect the signal cable from the monitor output port of the PC to the RGB1 INPUT(PC/DTV INPUT) port of the Monitor
or the signal cable from the DVI output port of the PC to the RGB2 INPUT(DIGITAL RGB INPUT) port of the Monitor. (DVI
cable not included with the Monitor)
- Connect the audio cable from the PC to the Audio ports of the Monitor. (Audio cables not included with the Monitor)
- In case of using a sound card, adjust PC sound properly.
- This monitor apply a VESA Plug and Play Solution. When connecting plug and play compatible system (PC) with monitor,
other setting is unnecessary. This monitor notify EDID data to PC system by using DDC protocol with the consequence
that a PC can compose automatically to use this monitor.
- DDC protocol preset in RGB1 (Analog RGB), RGB2 (DVI,Digital RGB) mode.
- Do a monitor setting to this product for Plug and Play functionally.
- If a graphic card don't output analog RGB and digital RGB simultaneously, connect RGB1 INPUT (PC/DTV INPUT) or
RGB2 INPUT (DIGITAL RGB INPUT) port of the Monitor to PC.
If a graphic card output analog RGB and digital RGB simultaneously, set the monitor in one of the RGB1 or RGB2 then
other mode is set Plug and Play monitor automatically.
- The monitor misunderstand 640x480, 60Hz as DTV 480p based on graphic card. In this case, change the screen scan-
ning rate of graphic card.
PC Setup
1. Turn on the PC and press the button on the Monitor to apply power to it.
2. Turn on the display by pressing the POWER button on the Monitor’s remote control.
3. Use the INPUT SELECT button on the remote control to select the RGB1 or RGB2 input source.
4. See the resolution output of the PC to SXGA or under (1280 x 1024, 75Hz).
