Do not short-circuit the battery. • Do not charge the battery in any charger other than
the one specified in this Guide. Using another charger may damage the battery, or
cause the battery to explode. • Do not remove or damage the battery casing. •
Never throw the battery into a fire, disassemble it, or heat it. • To reduce risk of fire
use only BT-2499A battery.
The nickel cadmium battery you have purchased is recyclable. At the end
of its useful life, under various state and local laws, it is illegal to dispose
of this battery into your municipal waste stream.
