3.0 Installation
3.1 Prior to installation, the following items should be considered:
3.1.1 During the design and layout of the aircraft cabin, careful
consideration of the location of this module is necessary. Some of
the items to be considered include:
• Space
• Available power supply
• Environmental conditions (temperature, humidity, etc.)
• Length of cable runs
3.1.2 The PA-9075-x01-x shall be installed to conform to the standards
designated by the customer, installing agency, and existing
conditions as to the unit location and type of installation.
3.1.3 The chassis material is brushed aluminum with a gold irridite finish
to provide electrical conductivity to ground from any point on the
chassis. Each connector location shall have the respective
connector ID designation etched into chassis above connector
attachment location to chassis in a contrasting manner for easy
readability.
3.1.4 Installation recommendation requires 2" spacing from other
equipment, modules, and structures except the mounting surface
for which the unit should be in direct contact.
3.1.5 Mounting points consist of four (4) 0.28 in. diameter mounting holes
(2 on each end).
3.1.6 This unit is capable of being mounted in any orientation whether
horizontal, vertical, inverted, or at an angle.
