Protect yourself against the effects of vibration
by maintaining the tool and its accessories,
keeping your hands warm, and organizing your
work patterns.
BEFORE FIRST USE
Remove the multitool and all accessories out
of the packaging and check all parts for dam-
age in transit.
Keep packaging materials out of reach of chil-
dren. There is a risk of suffocation!
The multitool sanding function may only be
used for dry sanding work. The tool is also
suitable for working on wood, metal, plaster,
plastic and filler surfaces. The sanding paper
pads can also be used for removing rust, old
paint and intermediate sanding. The large and
the small saw blades are suitable for cutting
wood and plastics.
Before undertaking any work on the
machine, pull out the power plug!
USE OF SANDING PAPER
Select the sanding paper according to the
material.
For coarse sanding and uneven surfaces use
60 or 80 grain sanding paper. For fine sanding
use the sanding paper pads with grain 120.

Attach the dust extractor adaptor (7) at the
tool holder (3) as shown in the illustration
(see figure).
Place the sanding plate (9) on the tool
holder (3) so that the pins of the tool
holder (3) fit into the recesses of the
accessory. Tighten the tool fastening
screw (5) and flange (6) with the supplied
Allen key (4).
2. Attach the sanding paper on the sanding
plate’s Velcro side and press it down on
the entire area.
3. Connect the vacuum cleaner to the dust
adaptor. Always use a vacuum cleaner
when using the tool as a sander.
4. Slide the ON/OFF switch (1) forward and
switch on the vacuum cleaner. Hold the
tool tight and move the sanding pad back
and forth as parallel to the work piece
surface as possible. In this way you avoid
waves and grooves. Do not apply addi-
tional pressure to the tool during sanding.
The weight of the tool generates sufficient
pressure for sanding. Please note that
additional pressure does not increase the
sanding performance and too much pres-
sure can result in the motor overheating.
ATTACHING THE SANDING PAPER PAD
TO THE SANDING PAD HOLDER
The sanding pad holder is equipped with a
hook and loop pad, so you can easily and
conveniently change the sanding paper pads.
Keep the adhesive fabric of the sanding pad
holder free from dirt and dust, so the adhesive
fabric will work as desired.
1. Position one corner of the sanding paper
pad to the pad holder and press it firmly
down. To achieve optimal extraction of
dust, make sure the holes in the sanding
paper pad and in the sanding pad holder
line up.
2. To remove the sanding paper pad, grasp
one edge and pull it off the sanding pad
holder.
MOUNTING THE SAW BLADE OR
SCRAPER
1. Attach the tool (saw blade or scraper) to
the tool holder (3). The tool can be
attached in any desired position, e. g. in
line with the housing or on the right or left
side of the housing.
2. Place the accessory on the tool holder (3)
so that the pins of the tool holder (3) fit into
the recesses of the accessory.
