CS215 Temperature and Relative Humidity Probe
7.5.5 Table-Based “Edlog” Dataloggers
1. Connect a single CS215 to the datalogger Control Port p as described in
Section 7.3, Wiring, and download a datalogger program that contains the
SDI-12 Recorder (Instruction 105) instruction with valid entries for each
parameter.
2. In the LoggerNet Toolbar, navigate to and activate the Tools|Terminal
Emulator … menu. The “Terminal Emulator” window will open. In the
Select Device menu, located in the lower left-hand side of the window,
select the station.
3. Click on the Open Terminal button. If communications between the
datalogger and PC are successful, the red bar located in the upper left-hand
side of the window will turn green.
4. Click inside the “Terminal Emulator” window and press the

5. To activate the SDI-12 Transparent Mode on Control Port p, enter

Mode.
8. To activate the SDI-12 transparent mode, on Control Port p, enter
