Moving the Device
The DES-7200 is large and heavy. When
handling, please pay close attention to the
following guidelines:
Avoid moving the equipment frequently.

At least two people are needed to move
-
the equipment. Do not attempt to move the
equipment alone.
Turn off all power supplies and unplug all
-
power cables before moving the equipment.
Use the side handles to remove all line cards,
-
the fan tray, and the power module from the
chassis before moving.

WARNING:
Do not move the equipment by
grasping the panel, power supply
handle, or ventilation holes, as they
are not designed to bear weight.
Preparation For Installation
To ensure normal operation and prolonged
life of the DES-7200, the appropriate temper-
ature and humidity must be maintained in the
equipment room.

System Grounding Requirements
Proper grounding will help to ensure stable and
reliable operation of the DES-7200. Be sure
to verify that the grounding conditions at the
installation meet the grounding requirements,
and ground all devices appropriately.
