Factor V-1250x User And Installation Manual - page 13
V-1250x INSTALLATION INSTRUCTIONS (IR) INFRARED CONTROL (IR FREQUENCY 38kHz)
IMPORTANT: ZONES 1-6 CAN BE CONTROLLED WITH AN INFRARED REPEATER SYSTEM CONNECTED TO THE IR/GND ZONE
INPUTS. THE ZONE REMOTE BYPASS SWITCHES MUST BE SET IN THE OFF POSITION TO ACCESS INFRARED FUNCTIONS.
INSTALLATION: CONNECTING AN (IR) INFRARED REPEATER SYSTEM TO THE IR/GND INPUTS
We recommend using a high quality Infrared repeater system like the Factor Electronics IR-KIT-100K or IR-KIT-36/56K. The V-1250x
infrared operating frequency is 38kHz which is compatible with most North American Infrared systems. Each zone can be set up
independently. The IR settings will be stored in memory provided the master power switch stays in the ON position and the power cord is
not unplugged from the unit. Power outages will cause the zones to return to their OFF default state. We recommend using a separate
IR system for each zone that will be used independently where changes to the zone will be made on a regular basis. All zones can be
controlled using a single IR repeater system (Multizone Control) however changes to the system will be global and will affect all connected
zones.
