Place the vacuum cleaner for safekeeping
at a location inaccessible to children.
ATTENTION: Do not place the device near
heat sources and avoid direct solar
radiation. Heat can damage the vacuum
cleaner.
Changing dust bag
WARNING: Before you begin with
maintenance and cleaning, switch off the
device and pull out the power plug. In the
case of inserted power plug, the device
could be switched on by mistake and cause
injuries.
NOTICE: Use only original Fakir filters. Only
in this way can the excellent filter effect of
the vacuum cleaner be retained.
• Press the release button [30] for the filter
enclosure cover [C] and open the filter
enclosure.
• Version 1: Dust bug with plastic plate and
hygiene disposal cover: Close the dust bag
by means off the hygiene disposal cover
[32]. Lift the dust bag holder [31] and
remove the full dust bag in the indicated
direction.
• Version 2: Dust bag with paper plate and
hygiene disposal ledge: Lift the dust bag
holder [31] and remove the full dust bag in
the indicated direction by means of the
disposal ledge [32a] - thus the filter opening
is closed.
• Insert the new dust bag completely into the
dust bag holder [31] and close the filter
enclosure cover until it engages.
Filter enclosure cover close-off
The filter enclosure cover close-off [33]
prevents that the device (sucked) can be
operated if no dust bag is present or if the
dust bag is incorrectly inserted.
Changing main microfilter
Open the filter enclosure, remove the dust
bag and fold up the dust bag holder as
described in the chapter on "Changing dust
bag".
• Fold out the grating [34] of the MICRO
VARIO filter cassette.
• Replace the main micro-filter [35] and close
the grating securely again. Alternatively,
you can also take the filter cassette from
the filter enclosure and then replace the
main micro-filter.
• Insert the dust bag again and close the
filter enclosure.
