5 HOW TO USE
5.1 Attaching the Abrasive Tools (wheels)
Crushing and Cutting
Before attaching and/or removing the grinding wheels, always remove the air supply hose.
Protective gloves
Before attaching and/or removing the grinding wheels, wear suitable protective gloves.
1. Choose the grinding wheel with the desired shape and size.
2. Insert the tool chuck on the grinder shaft.
Choice of Chuck
Choose a tool chuck which has a central hole equal to that on the tool shaft. For example, if
you want to use a grinding wheel with a 6mm shaft, choose a chuck with a central hole of 6
mm.
3. Screw the spindle onto the grinder shaft, but do not tighten completely.
4. Insert the grinding tool into the spindle, inserting the shaft into the tool chuck by at least
10mm.
5. Using the keys supplied, strongly and securely tighten the spindle.
Crushing and Cutting
Always be sure to insert the shaft of the grinding wheel into the hole of the tool chuck
by at least 10mm.
Always make sure that the tool is assembled correctly while trying to manually remove
it from the grinder.
If it is too short or incorrectly tightened, the grinding wheel may suddenly release and
may hit the operator in the face or chest.
Assembling the Grinding Wheel
Always check that the grinding wheel is compatible with the pneumatic tool.
Check that the wheel is in good condition, i.e. no cracks and not completely worn out, before
operating.
Make sure the grinding wheel is fully inserted and locked into the tool chuck.
