GALESKI WERKZEUGE
1. General
The jig-saw PGS 60 is a high-quality tool
which will enjoy a long life with proper han-
dling and use. The national working safety
rules (e.g. Law on the Safety of Technical
Appliances) are applicable for its proper use.
This electric power tool developed by us is in
strict conformity with the legal requirements
for technical appliances which are for the
protection of health and life during its use.
2. Safety Instructions
To be followed under all circumstances!
Read the operating instructions carefully!
Read also the additional safety instruc-
tions in a separate enclosed booklet.
The jig-saw PGS 60 is built exclusively for
cutting stone plates, it must never be used
for cutting steel, non-ferrous metals, wood or
synthetic materials, even if saw-blades other
than those delivered by GALESKI
Werkzeuge could be used. Mounting saw-
blades not from GALESKI Werkzeuge is not
permitted and results in an exclusion of any
liability in case of damage, whatever its na-
ture.
During setting-up, operation and mainte-
nance of the jig-saw, the common and rele-
vant regulations for the prevention of acci-
dents (as often outlined by the employer`s
liability insurance) are to be observed. This
especially applies to the finger guard mount-
ed on the jig-saw, which should not be dis-
mounted under any circumstances. Even
when saw-blades are changed, the finger
guard does not need to be removed.
Before handling the cutting tappet, i.e. for
mounting or changing saw-blades, the
(mains-) power plug is to be disconnected
(unplugged) to avoid unintentional switching
on and resulting injuries.
The jig-saw must only be used on slabs in
horizontal position in order to rule out cooling
water entering the electric motor which will
cause a short-circuit.
Never use the machine in an upright (ver-
tical) position!
Safety Goggles are to be used to protect the
eyes.

4. Design
The jig-saw PGS 60 (ASte 549-1/ CB 2028)
is an electric power tool of the insulation
safety class 1.
The motor casing, made of shock- and im-
pact-resistant polyamide, makes for the insu-
lation of the pole-casing, whereas the cur-
rent-supplying ("live") parts of the rotor are
electrically separated from the primary shaft
by means of an intermediate insulation.
5. Connection and Handling
(Additional safety advice!)
As the jig-saw is to be used with water, it
must only be operated in connection with the
personal safety-switches "PRCD".
The personal safety-switch is to be
checked as follows before every opera-
tion:
(a) Operate switch "ON" while power plug is
