Noise and Interference
: Motorcycle audio systems are by their very
naturenoisy.Whilewedonotguaranteethissystemtobecom-
pletely free from electrical noises and interference, we have taken
many steps to achieve that goal: the power supply system is well
filtered and the cables associated with the unit are shielded.
Most modern day motorcycles have resistor-type spark plugs installed
bythefactory.Itmaybenecessarytoinsurethatresistor-typespark
plugs are installed on your motorcycle.
Care, Cleaning and Protection
: Your JMCB-2003K unit has been
designed to withstand most weather conditions likely to be encoun-
tered in the motorcycle riding environment.
This unit is NOT however designed to be submerged or to withstand
a high pressure spray from commercial car wash nozzles and the
warranty will be void on any unit that has been subjected to these
conditions.
The included slip-on elastic cover should be installed over your JMCB-
2003K unit when washing your motorcycle or whenever your motor-
cycle will be left out in the weather or direct sunlight for extended
periods of time.
To clean your JMCB-2003K, use a soft damp cloth and avoid any
harsh cleaning solvents or abrasives, as these may damage the finish
or structural integrity of your CB unit.
