HOW TO ASSEMBLE THE MINI CHOPPER AND USING FOR THE FIRST TIME
• Washthebowl,lidandbladeinhotsoapywater,rinseanddrythoroughly.Pleasetakecare
when handling the blade, as it’s very sharp
• Placethebowlontopofthebaseunitandturnuntilitclicksintoplace
• Placethebladeontothespindleandcarefullypushitdownintoplace
• Placeyourfoodinthebowl
• Positionthelidontopofthebowlandtwisttheliduntilitlocksintoplace.Thearrowonthe
lid should be in line with the control button. If the bowl, blade and lid are not fitted properly
the chopper will not start

• Themotorwillrunforaslongasthebuttonishelddown.Shortburstsofpowerwillproduce
a ‘pulse’ action that helps to avoid over processing the ingredients.
• Oncethedesiredconsistencyisreached,releasethecontrolbuttonandunplugtheappliance.
Remove the lid and bowl by turning anti-clockwise. Carefully lift out the blade before removing
food from the bowl.

• TheMiniChopperworksbestwhenusedinshortbursts–pushthebuttonfor20secondsand
let the motor rest for 2 minutes between each operation.
• Whenblendingliquid,neverfillthebowlmorethanhalffull.
• Checktheconsistencyofwhatyouarechoppingregularlysoyoudonotover-processit.
• Youmayneedtoscrapeanyfoodfromthesidesofthebowlwithaplasticorsiliconespatula,
then continue processing to ensure all the food is evenly chopped. Always disconnect the
appliance from the power first.
• Beforechoppingbread,biscuitsornuts,ensurethatthebladeandbowlarecompletelydry.

1. Toast the pine nuts lightly in a dry pan
2. Place all the ingredients in the Mini Chopper and pulse until they reach your preferred
consistency
3. The pesto can be stored in an airtight container, in the fridge, for one week.
4. Before storing the pesto in the fridge, pour a small amount of extra oil over the top of the
pesto.
