Ready, Steady… Go!
Start
Immediately after switching on, the OkyFly2
start page appears on the TV screen.
Simultaneously, the system uploads the
songs contained in the on-board memory
or on the Compact Flash card (if it’s in the
appropriate slot on the front panel).
Some information appears for a short time on the start page:
Operating System
The screen will also show the version of the Operating System currently
loaded in OkyFly2 (in the example, vers. X.XX).
N.B.: the Operating System, i.e. the unit’s brain, contains all the OkyFly2 functions and can be
updated via OkyWin Gold. Updates can be downloaded from the Web site and transferred to
OkyFly2 using a guided procedure.
The version of the Operating System can also be viewed in the system information, accessible via
the Menu key.
OkyCode
OkyCode is the individual code of your OkyFly2.
The OkyCode can also be viewed in the system information, accessible via the Menu key.
Mode
Shows the type of OkyFly2 operation currently set.
The preset mode is “Karaoke”, which allows all the normal work of playing
and managing songs described in the following pages.
“Sing&Vote” on the other hand is the mode that allows to organize real contests
between several participants (see chapter Sing&Vote).
After starting the unit, the required mode can be chosen in the Player Settings, accessible via
the Menu key.
