TEMPO
TEMPO adjusts playback speed.
N.B.: does not work on MP3 files.
In other words, by means of this control, you can play back songs faster or slower.
For example, you can brighten up a slow song (+ values), enjoying yourself
with your friends, to see who can sing the fastest, or slow down songs when
necessary (- values), to study the most difficult parts or to rehearse them with
your instrument.
This control’s setting effects all songs and remains valid until the next adjustment,
but only as long as OkyFly2 is switched on. In fact, the next time OkyFly2 is
switched, it will have its original (default) settings.
To restore the original settings
manually, set the control at Zero.
KEY
N.B.: does not work on MP3 files.
KEY changes the key of the songs.
You can match songs’ keys to your vocal possibilities or those of whoever is
enjoying themselves with you without any problems.
For example, you can try the same song in various keys, until you find the one most suited to your
voice; you can make a song intended to be sung by a female voice more suited to being sung by a
man, or vice versa; or you can use a “deeper” (i.e. lower) key to reduce vocal stress during
particularly demanding performances.
For those with musical knowledge: the
changes are made in steps of 1
semitone, up to a maximum of twelve
semitones (i.e. an octave).
Therefore, to lower the key by 1 tone (for
example from A to G), set the control at -2.
For all users: positive values make the
key higher and negative ones make it
lower than the original key.
This control’s setting effects all songs and remains valid until the next adjustment,
but only as long as OkyFly2 is switched on. In fact, the next time OkyFly2 is
switched on again, its original (default) settings will be restored.
To restore the original settings
manually, set the control at Zero.
