Reception
(1)
Call the installed machine with another telephone, and make sure that:
the machine can respond to the call, the AUTO REC lamp goes off, and also
the FAX lamp lights.
(2)
After about 35 seconds under above conditions, the machine can take a time out.
Make sure
audible alarm sounds, and then stops automatically.
(3)
To receive facsimile messages from a remote G3 or
machine.
(4)
The typical receiving procedure is described in Figure 3.13.1.
3.13.3
Transmission
(1)
Totransmit facsimile messagesto an installed machine with a G3 or
mode.
(2)
Do not replace the telephone handset during transmission. Make sure that:
The audible alarm sounds at the end of transmission, and that it continues until
the handset is replaced.
(3)
The typical transmission procedure isdescribed in Figure 3.13.2.
