9.2 Install Galvanized Collar

1. Apply a

ead of high temperat

re silicone seal-
ant to the mating s

rface of the gal

nting flange.
2. Align the three mo

nting holes of the gal

anized
collar

ith the three gal
v
anized collar mo

nting
holes on the rear s
u
rface of the
bu
rner.
3. Using a #2 phillips head scre

er, or 1/4" n

v
er, sec

re the gal

anized collar to the rear

rface of the
bu
rner

ith the three scre

s (#8 x
3/8" long) pro

ided in the accessories

re, transfer this meas

rface of the exterior

ent

ill penetrate; make a reference
mark. Check the location of the hole to ens

re
that there are no internal

all str

ct

res (i.e.

ds) to pre
v
ent penetration. Also check that
the o

tlet of the
v
ent does not compromise the
general
v
enting req
u
irements,

Heaters must be exhausted outside.
Use materials supplied.
This heater needs fresh air for safe operation
and must be installed so there are provisions
for adequate combustion and ventilation air.
