Troubleshooting
PROBLEM
PROBABLE CAUSE
REMEDY
7. The liquid line is frosted.
The dryer or the tubing is restricted.
Replace or remove the restrictions.
8. No product is being dispensed.
The control switch is in the OFF
position.
Place the unit in the AUTO position.
There is a freeze--up in the mix feed
tube.
Adjust the hopper temperature. (Refer
to the “Operating Screen” section in
this manual.
The freezer is experiencing a fault.
See page 8 of this manual to remedy
the fault.
Incorrect beater rotation. (Rotation
should be clockwise when viewed
from the front of the unit.)
Reverse any two of the three incoming
power lines (three phase units only).
The circuit breaker is out.
Check the breaker or fuse.
Faulty draw switch.
Repair or replace the switch.
Inadequate mix in the hopper.
Fill the hopper with mix.
9. Scored freezing cylinder walls.
Missing or worn front bearing on the
freezer door.
Install or replace the front bearing.
The beater assembly is bent.
Replace the beater and correct the
cause of insufficient mix in the
freezing cylinder.
10. Product is not feeding into the
freezing cylinder
There is inadequate mix in the hopper. Fill the hopper with mix.
freezing cylinder.
The feed tube is improperly installed.
Correctly install the feed tube
according to instructions in the
Operator’s Manual (AUTO position).
There is a freeze--up in the mix inlet
hole.
Adjust the hopper temperature. (Refer
to the “Operating Screen” section in
this manual.)
11. The drive shaft is stuck in the
drive coupling.
Mix and lubricant have collected in the
drive coupling.
Brush clean the rear shell bearing
area regularly.
The corners of the drive shaft, and/or
coupling are rounded.
Replace the worn component(s).
