USE AND CARE
Prior to First Use: Hand wash new wok and grates thoroughly
with a mild dishwashing liquid. Dry thoroughly with soft cloth or
paper towel.

After the coals are thoroughly hot (approximately 25 minutes),
using barbecue mitts or gloves, place cooking grate into grill.
Then place the wok into the cooking grate opening (Image 2, 3).

Place the lid on the grill bowl, leaving lid damper open and pre-
heat the wok and cooking grate for approximately 10-15 minutes.

CAUTION: Using a metal spatula or spoon on the wok
surface can cause damage to the porcelain-enamel finish.

Use care when lifting the
wok out of the grill to avoid spilling remaining food/liquid.

Soak in
water to remove stubborn particles before hand washing.
Nylon or soft abrasive pads/brushes may be used.
CAUTION:
Do not use metallic pads/brushes or harsh abrasive
soaps as these will damage the porcelain-enamel finish.
Thoroughly dry wok after washing.

Brush debris off hinged cooking grate with steel bristled wire brush.

WARNING: Do not use wok without the
Gourmet BBQ System hinged cooking grate.
WARNING: Always use heat-resistant
barbecue mitts or gloves when handling or
cooking on the Weber Original™ Gourmet
BBQ System.
WARNING: Do not attempt to remove a hot
wok from the grill.
CAUTION: Do not drop the cast-iron wok—
it will break.
DANGER! Do not use cooking
oil of any kind or quantity in the
wok. Cooking oil can catch fire
and cause serious bodily injury
or death and damage to property.
Instead, lightly oil food prior to
placing in heated wok.

examination shall indicate, to Weber’s satisfaction, that they are defective.
If Weber confirms the defect and approves the claim, Weber will elect to
repair or replace such parts without charge. If you are required to return
defective parts, transportation charges must
be prepaid. Weber will return parts to the purchaser, freight or postage
prepaid.
