Installing USB driver in Windows 2000/XP

Using Your Printer with a USB Cable

Connect your printer with the USB cable.

1. Connecting USB 

The New Hardware Found dialog box appears.

Click Cancel, and insert the supplied CD-ROM into your CD-

ROM drive.

Note: All applications must be

closed on your PC before

beginning installation.

2. Installing USB driver

Follow the instructions on the screen to complete the

installation. For more details, see page 

2.9

Note:

● 

If you want to use your printer with the pararell cable,

remove the USB cable and connect the pararell cable. 

Then reinstall the printer driver.

● 

If your printer doesn’t work properly, reinstall the printer

driver.
