TIMER
knob
Is used to set the time for a given program.
The maximum time of one operating cycle
is 35 minutes.
ATTENTION
If the cooking time is to be shorter than 2 minutes, first turn the
Time (II) knob beyond the mark indicating 2 minutes and next move
back the Time (II) knob to set the desired time.
TURNTABLE INSTALLATION
1. Never place the glass tray upside down.
The glass tray should never be restricted.
2. Both glass tray and turntable ring assem
-
bly must always be used during cooking.
3. All food and food containers should al
-
ways be placed on the glass tray.
4. If glass tray cracks or breaks contact your
nearest service center.
SWITCHING ON THE OVEN
Plug the appliance into an appropriate outlet.
Place the food in the microwave oven and close the door before pro
-
gramming.
MICROWAVE COOKING
There are 5 levels of microwave cooking which are to be selected accord
-
ing to a given dish.
In order to choose the right cooking power (see table below), turn the
POWER (I)
knob clockwise and set it on the selected symbol.

CAUTION! The oven starts to operate immediately after setting the time.
DEFROSTING
This function allows defrosting frozen food.
To select defrosting turn the ●○

Next turn the
TIME (II)
knob clockwise to set the desired time. The
maximum defrosting time for one operating cycle is 35 minutes.
CAUTION! The oven starts to operate immediately after setting the time.
AFTER OPERATING
Each time when a given function ends, you will hear a beep, indicat
-
ing that the oven finished operating.
To stop the oven during operation, open the door by pulling the han
-
dle. Closing the door once again will automatically start the oven ac
-
cording to the previously selected settings.
If the food is taken out from the oven before the set program time
elapses ALWAYS TURN THE KNOB TO ZERO POSITION
Operating the microwave oven without food inside may damage the
appliance.
Materials you can use in the microwave oven
Material
Remarks
Aluminum foil
Shielding only. Small pieces can be used to cover thin
parts of meat or poultry to prevent overcooking. Arc
-
ing can occur if foil is too close to oven walls. The foil
should be at least 2.5 cm away from oven walls.
Ceramic dish
Follow manufacturer’s instructions. The bottom of the
ceramic dish must be at least 5mm above the turnta
-
ble. Incorrect usage may cause the turntable to break.
Dinnerware
Microwave safe only. Follow manufacturer’s instruc
-
tions. Do not use cracked or chipped dishes.
Glass jars
Always remove lid. Use only to heat food until just
warm. Most glass jars are not heat resistant and may
break.
Glassware
Heat-resistant glassware only. Make sure there is no
metallic trim. Do not use cracked or chipped dishes.
Microwave oven
cooking bags
Follow manufacturer’s instructions. Do not close with
a metal tie. Make slits to allow steam to escape.
Paper plates
and cups
Use for short term / warming only. Do not leave unat
-
tended while cooking.
Paper towels
Use to cover food while reheating to absorb fat. Use
under supervision for short term cooking only.
Parchment paper
Use as a cover to prevent splattering or a wrap for
steaming.
Plastic
Microwave safe only. Follow the manufacturer’s instruc
-
tions. Should be labeled: Microwave Safe”. Some plas
-
tic containers become soft as food inside becomes hot.
“Boiling bags” and tightly closed plastic bags should be
slit, pierced or vented as directed by the package.
Plastic wrap
Microwave safe only. Use to cover food during cooking
to retain moisture. Do not allow plastic wrap to touch
food.
Thermometers
Microwave safe only (meat and candy thermometers).
Wax paper
Use as a cover to prevent splattering and retain mois
-
ture.

Food carton with metal

May cause arcing. Transfer food into a microwave safe
dish.
Metal or metal-trimmed
utensils
Metal shields the food from microwave energy. Metal
trim may cause arcing.
Metal twist ties
May cause arcing and cause fire in the oven.
Paper bags
May cause fire in the oven.
Plastic foam
Plastic foam may melt and contaminate the liquid in

side when exposed to high temperatures.
Wood
Wood used in the microwave oven dries out and may
crack.
