Introduction
Thank you for purchasing the Baroness LM2700, front 5-reel fairway mower.
This operator’s manual describes the correct methods for handling, adjusting, and checking
the machine for those who do the mowing operation of a golf course. Be sure to read this
manual and make sure that you understand its contents thoroughly before using the
machine.
Our machines have been tested and inspected thoroughly before shipment from the factory.
However, whether the machine can display its original performance depends on the
handling method, as well as daily checks, adjustments, and lubrication before and after
operation.
Keep the machine well maintained to expect safe operation and excellent performance for
an extended period of time.

Gradual changes may be made to the machine.

serial number.

Introduction
Read this manual carefully to thoroughly understand the proper operating and maintenance
methods of your mower, and to avoid causing injury to yourself and to others. The operator
is responsible for operating this machine properly and safely.
Never perform maintenance and repair which are not explained in this manual. If a
maintenance and repair is required, an engineer who has technical knowledge and
understood the service manual enough should do the work.
For questions concerning maintenance or genuine parts, please contact your local
Baroness dealer. When making inquiries about your mower, please specify the mower's
model number and serial number.
Safety
This machine meets CEN standard EN 836:1997 (by affixing the specified label) for ride-on
lawn mowers at the time of production.
Improper use or maintenance can result in injury or death. To prevent an accident, be sure
to follow the safety precautions described below and always pay attention to the warning
symbols. The warning symbols are displayed as CAUTION, WARNING, or DANGER, and
all symbols describe important safety precautions. Failure to thoroughly follow these safety
precautions can cause an accident resulting in injury or death.
Safety management
The following instructions are taken from CEN standard EN 836:1997, ISO standard
5395:1990 and ANSI B71.4-2004.
Intended uses
Use the mower for the purpose it is intended for, that is cutting grass on lawns.
Any other use could be dangerous or damage the equipment.
