Beacon interval
Beacons are the packets sent by an Access Point to synchronize a wirele ss network. And the beacon interval is to
determine the amount of time between beacons. You may specify ranging from 1 to 1000. The default value is
100 microseconds.
RTS Threshold
This setting determines the packet size that the AP issues a RTS (request to send) before sending the packet. You
may enter a value from 256 to 2432. The default value for RTS Threshold is suggested to set as 2432.
Fragmentation
Use the low Fragmentation in areas where the communication is poor or where there is a lot of clients. If you
experience a high packet error rate, you may slightly increase your "Fragmentation" value within the range 256~
2346. This value is suggested to set as a default value 2346.
DTIM interval (beacon rate)
Enter a value between 1 and 65535 to set up the DTIM (Delivery Traffic Indication Message) interval rate. This
setting determines how often the beacon contains a DTIM. The DTIM tells power-save client devices that a
packet is waiting for them. The default value for DTIM interval is 3.
