Connect a hose (Ø 10 mm) to the designated connector on the back side of the machine and to a preinstalled

siphoned drain.

FIRST USE

5.1 First use

Read the instruction manual carefully before operating the machine.

Before starting the machine, check if:

 the steam and hot water valves are closed.

 the machine is switched off. (Power switch in lower position.)

 the power cord is disconnected.

 the drip tray is inserted accurately.

Now you can start up your machine:

Water tank machines: Open the cup warmer tray by flipping it open.

Water tank machines: Take out the water tank and rinse it thoroughly.

Water tank machines: Fill the water tank with fresh water deficient in lime and put it back into the water tank

guides and close the cup warmer tray again.

Plug the power cord into the power outlet and move the power switch into the upper position. Now the machine is

switched on.

The green control lamp lights up.

The pump starts to work and fills the boiler with fresh water.

As soon as the filling of the boiler, no pumpe noise is hearable anymore and the control panel lights up.

Water tank machines: As soon as the fresh water in the water tank drops to a certain level, the machine is

switched off automatically and the buttons of the control panel flash. Refill fresh water into the water tank. The

machine will heat up automatically.

In case the machine does not heat up automatically, briefly switch off the machine. Then switch

it on again.

Water tank machines: As a large amount of water is required for the first filling of the boiler, refill the water tank

with fresh water.

10 Wait until the boiler pressure gauge indicated approx. 1.0-1.2 bar.

11 A manual “boiler ventilation” is not necessary because the Elektronika Profi is equipped with a professional

despression valve that ventilates the boiler in the heat-up phase.

12 Press the star key and dispense approx. 250 ml. Thus, the heat exchanger ist filled and the water circulation in

the thermosyphon system begins.

13 Press the star key again to end the water outlet from the brewing group.

14 Water tank machines: Refill the water tank.

15 The machine is now ready for use. Place the cups on the cup heater tray in order to preheat them.

5.2 Dose programming
