USING YOUR STEAM IRONING SYSTEM
Place the steam generator either on the support of your ironing board or on any other stable surface nearby – make
sure that the iron is sitting on the iron rest on the steam generator. Make sure that the steam generator is not
connected to the mains supply and that the steam and power supply cords are unrolled and not kinked.
FILLING WITH WATER
Remove the water tank by holding the grip on its underside and pulling it out.
Open the water tank cover (2) and fill the tank with fresh clean water. Close the cover.
Never fill the tank above the maximum level marked MAX on the water tank.
A filter is fitted to the steam generator and is designed to reduce the built up of limescale, prolonging the life
of your device. However it will not completely eliminate limescale built up.
You may also extend the life of the water filter by using filtered water (appropriate for use in steam irons and
ironing systems).
The filter should be replaced with a new one after 6 months if your device is used daily. To remove the filter,
first remove the water tank, then grip the 2 protrusions on the filter and pull firmly to remove. Replace with
a new filter. New filters you may find in authorized service centers or in most of the stores selling this device.
Do not add anything else to the water such as water from cloths driers, scented water, water from
refrigerators, air conditioners, batteries, bottled mineral water or rain water. The use of such will create
concentration of brown particles that will come out of your iron soleplate whilst ironing – furthermore, will
reduce the life of your device.
Replace the tank by pushing firmly into place.
Important: If the tank is not fitted correctly the device will not operate and symbol
will appear on the
display.
REFILLING THE TANK
If you want to refill the water tank during the ironing process, make sure you always switch off and disconnect
the device from the mains supply first. Remove the tank as described above and fill only with water.
TEMPERATURE SELECTION
Always check garment label for ironing instructions before ironing garment.
If the ironing instructions are missing, then the table below may help you.
First you should sort the laundry: Wool with wool, Cotton with cotton etc. Start ironing the fabrics requiring
the lowest temperature and progress to the higher ones because the iron heats up quicker than it cools down.
If the garment consists of various kinds of fabrics (e.g. cotton with polyester) you must always select the
ironing temperature for the material with the lowest advised temperature.
If in doubt, start with a low temperature on a part that won’t be seen (e.g. the inner side of trousers).

BASIC OPERATION
Connect your device to the mains supply.
You will then hear a single beep and the display will illuminate.
Turn the temperature control knob to the desired temperature depending on the type of garment you will iron.
When the iron reaches the set temperature the temperature indicator light (3) will go out. During ironing this
light will go on and off as your iron maintains the right temperature.
The standby indicator
will flash and the iron will start to preheat. The stand by indicator will be visible on
the display when the iron is heating.
The steam indicator is set to maximum steam by default.
The display should look like the picture below:
Note: To turn the device off at any time, press and hold down the left button until a beep is heard and the display
extinguishes.
