PANEL DESCRIPTION
1
PRIORITY A, PRIORITY B
Push to select the Prorty A or Prorty B channel.
PRIORITY A (REWRITE), PRIORITY B (REWRITE)

Push to select the Prorty A or Prorty B channel.
➥
Hold down for 1 second to assgn the operatng channel to
the Prorty A or Prorty B channel.
MEMORY CHANNELS 1, 2, 3, 4
Push to select memory channel 1, 2, 3 or 4.
MONITOR, MONITOR (AUDIBLE)

Push to turn the CTCSS (DTCS) or 2/5-tone squelch mute
ON or OFF.
• Only durng LMR (Land Moble Rado) operaton, push to
open any squelch, or deactvate any mute functons.
• Only durng PMR (Prvate Moble Rado) operaton, push
to actvate one or two of the followng functons on each
channel (Dependng on the pre-grogrammed settngs):
- Hold down to unmute the channel (‘Audble’ mode).
- Push to mute the channel (‘Inaudble’ mode).
- After the communcaton s finshed, push to send a ‘reset code’
(5-tone) or a ‘Clear Down’ sgnal (BIIS).
NOTE:
The ‘Audble’ (unmute) mode may automatcally
return to the ‘Inaudble’ (mute) mode, after the pre-pro-
grammed tme perod.

Dependng on the pre-programmed settngs, holdng down
ths key for 1 second cancels a scan.
PUBLIC ADDRESS
Push to actvate the PA (Publc Address) functon. When ths
functon s turned ON, the audo level can be separately con-
trolled from the transcever by pushng [CH Up] or [CH Down].
• Ths functon can be used when external equpment, such as an
audo amplfier, speaker, etc. s connected.
• Push ths key, then hold down [PTT] and speak nto the mcro-
phone.
RX SPEAKER
Push to turn the RX Speaker functon ON or OFF.
When ths functon s turned ON, the receved audo can be
heard through an external speaker.
• Ths functon s useful when you are away from the transcever.
• The audo output level s lnked to the transcever’s volume control.
LIGHT
Push to turn the backlght ON for about 5 seconds, when the
Backlght functon s set to “OFF” n the User Set mode.
LOCK

Hold down ths key untl “LOCK ON” s dsplayed to elec-
troncally lock all programmable keys except the followng:
[Mon], [Lght], [Lock], [Call] (ncl. Call A and Call B), [Emergency],
[Survellance], [Lone Worker] and [OPT 1/2/3].

When the Key Lock functon s ON, hold down ths key
untl “LOCK OFF” s dsplayed to turn t OFF.
