System Graphics
The System Reference refers to specific graphics cards. However, your system may have been
delivered with graphics not referred to in the System Reference. See the separate graphics
documentation delivered with the system for information on your system’s graphics.
Three-Button Primax Mouse
If your system was delivered with a three-button Primax mouse, you may see a message that
says “MouseWare has detected a new Wheel Mouse....” and asks if you want to configure the
new device. If this happens, select No. If you experience any other anomalies while using the
Primax mouse, reinstall the mouse driver found on the Windows NT software CD-ROM.
Logitech Wheel Mouse
If your system was delivered with a Logitech wheel mouse, you can find information on using
it by right-clicking the mouse icon in the taskbar tray, or by going to Start/Settings/Control
Panel/Mouse and clicking Help in the toolbar.
If the wheel on the mouse does not function, or if you experience any other anomalies while
using the wheel mouse, install the
LMOUSE
driver software from the Intergraph System CD
using InterSite Version Manager.
Disk Activity LED and PCI Disk Controllers
The disk activity LED only shows activity for disk drives cabled to the system board (that is,
SCSI drives using the on-board SCSI controller). The LED does not indicate disk activity for
disk drives attached to a PCI adapter (such as an add-on disk controller).
Internal and External RAID Configurations
The basic RAID configuration for an InterServe 80 consists of a RAID controller cabled to
disk drives internal to the system. You can add external RAID cabinets by adding additional
RAID controllers and cabling the cabinets to these additional controllers. You cannot connect
an external RAID cabinet to the RAID controller cabled to the system's internal disk drives.
