Fan motor
The fans are maintenance-free. The bearings are greased for life.
Electric heating element
Only clean electric heating elements guarantee full heat output over many years. The
heating element should be checked and possibly cleaned following completion of the
construction phase and following operation without an inlet filter. To clean the heating
element (min. twice per year), remove the casing and carefully vacuum the electric heating
element with a vacuum cleaner. Avoid damaging the pipes and fins.
Inlet air filter
A G2 (EU2) is fitted on the inlet air side in the basic unit. The heat output of the unit will
be reduced with dirty filters and the fans can be damaged by overloading. Clean and
monitor the inlet air filter at regular intervals, at least twice a year, and more often where
there is a high concentration of dust in the air. The door air curtain should never be
operated without a filter.
