Assembly and Installation Instructions
2.51
Turning on the equipment
Turn on the mains voltage.
Start up the Tandem 300-Electro door air curtain using the
connected radio remote control unit.
Check the different fan stages by switching through them
on the selector switch.
Check the other switching and control functions.
Continuous shut-down
Turn off the mains voltage.
12. Radio Remote Control
The radio remote control comprises an emitter (control panel),
which can be used to operate the door air curtain, and a
receiver. The control panels (described on page 12) can be fixed
to a suitable position, the wall for example. The receiver (aerial)
is positioned on the unit.
12.1. Commissioning the radio remote control unit
The receiver PCB is on the right-hand side of the unit, seen from
the air inlet.
Remove the side casing panel.
The radio aerial is connected in the factory (see fig. 1)
The aerial is held in place by a magnetic support and can be
positioned anywhere on the housing (figure 2). The position
which provides an optimum reception should be selected. It
is important that the aerial cannot be reached by
unauthorised persons.
Coding, emitter/receiver:
Turn on the 3-pole protection provided by the customer.
Once connected to the mains, you have 1 minute for coding.
If coding has not been performed in this period, you can try
again by setting up another mains connection (removing the
plug and then plugging it in again). This should be done near
to the door air curtain so that it is possible to check whether
coding has been performed properly.
Logging on the control panel (emitter):
Turn on the 3-pole protection provided by the customer.
The yellow LED will now light up on the board (see figure 1).
Press (any) two diagonally opposing buttons on the control
unit simultaneously for longer than one second. Following
successful coding, the door air curtain can be controlled from
the control unit.
Logging off the control panel (emitter):
Switch the 3-pin fuse (provided by others) off and then on
again. The yellow PLED will now be flashing cyclically on the
PCB. (see figure 1).
Press all four keys simultaneously for longer than one second.
Once decoding has been performed, the door air curtain will
no longer react to the remote control.
Following successful coding, now fit the side casing panel.

curtain with the magnetic support.
