Place supplied hand crank into hose
drum shaft.
è
Before unwinding the high pressure
hose loose hose windings must be stret-
ched: Turning of the hand crank clockwi-
se (direction of the arrow).
몇
Warning
Always unwind high pressure hose comple-
tely
For connection values refer to technical spe-
cifications
è
Install supply hose on water connection
of the device (Figure 1 - Pos. 9).
Note
The supply hose is not included.
Observe regulations of water supplier. Ac-
cording to DIN 1988 it is not allowed to con-
nect the device directly to the public water
supply. A brief connection through a pipe in-
terruptor (Order Nr. 6.412-578) is admissi-
ble. The high pressure cleaner is to be
separated from the water supply after use.
If you want to suck in water from an external
vessel, the following modification is neces-
sary:
Figure 4
è
Remove liquid softener container up-
ward
è
Dismantle upper supply hose to water
container and lead it to pump head.
Figure 5
è
Unfasten water connection at pump
head and turn sideways.
è
Connect supply hose at pump head.
Use 3/4" hose with suck filter for suck in
– Max. suck height: 0.5 m
Until the pump sucked in water, you should:
è
Turn the pressure- and mass regulation
to MAX.
è
Close the dosing valve for the detergent.
Danger
Never suck in water from a drinking water
container. Never suck in liquids which con-
tain solvents like lacquer thinner, petrol, oil
or unfiltered water. The sealings within the
device are not solvent resistant. The spray
mist of solvents is highly inflammable, explo-
sive and poisonous.
For connection values, see technical data
and type plate.
몇
Warning
The highest allowed net impedance at the
electrical connection point (refer to technical
data) is not to be exceeded.
Main Plug Assembly
– Have Kärcher customer service or
another authorized electrical professio-
nal install the main plug.
è
Set the appliance switch to "0".
è
Plug in the main plug.
몇
Warning
Check direction of rotation of the engine at
every socket change.
– With correct direction of rotation a strong
airflow can be felt out of the exhaust ope-
ning of the burner.
– For incorrect direction of rotation refer to
malfuntion "Burner is not igniting".
è
If you use an extension conduit it should
be unrolled all the time and possess a
sufficient cross section (10 m = Min.
1,5mm²; 30 m = min. 2,5 mm²).
