Setting
Alarms
An alarm can only be set while the unit is in standby mode.
This unit enables you to set 2 separate alarms. You can select to wake to CD, USB, radio or
buzzer.
1.
While the unit is in standby mode, press and hold for 2 seconds the
AL1(or
AL2)
button on the unit. The hour
will start flashing. Set the desired hour by pressing the
or
buttons.
2.
Press the
AL1(or
AL2) button again. The minutes
will start flashing. Set the desired
minutes by pressing the
or
buttons.
3.
Press the
AL1(or
AL2) button again. The alarm interval
will start flashing. By press-
ing the
or
buttons select between the following options:
Interval
MO
TU
WE
TH
FR
SA
SU
Every day of the week
Weekdays
Weekends
Specific day of the week

Press the
AL1(or
AL2) button again. The alarm mode
will be flashing. Select the
desired mode (CD, USB, TUNER or BUZZ) by pressing the
or
buttons.
5.
Press the
AL1(or
AL2) button again. The alarm volume
will start flashing. Set the
desired volume by pressing the
or
buttons. Once the alarm is activated it will
slowly increase to the set volume.
6.
Press the
AL1(or
AL2
) button again to confirm your settings. The alarm is now set
and will sound at the set time. The
AL1(or
AL2) symbol will be shown in the display.
Activating/Deactivating an Alarm
•
To deactivate or reactivate a set alarm, press the
AL1(or
AL2) button repeatedly
while the unit is in standby mode. “SET ON” means the alarm is active. “SET OFF” means
the alarm is not active and will not ring.
Stopping an Active Alarm
•
When the alarm is sounding, press the Power button to turn it off. The alarm will come
on again on the next day at the set time (depending on the set interval).
Snooze
The snooze function allows you to delay an active alarm for 9 minutes. To do so, press the
Sleep button once while the alarm is active. The alarm will stop and come on again after 9
minutes. While the snooze function is active the clock is flashing.
To cancel this function, press the Sleep button once again.
Countdown Timer
The unit has a countdown timer which is convenient for cooking and baking where timing is necessary:
1.
While the unit is in standby mode press the
Timer button on the unit or press and hold for 2
seconds the
Timer button on the remote control to enter the timer setting.

Select a desired time from 0 - 180 minutes using the
and
buttons (press and hold the
resp. button for faster setting).
3.
Once you have reached the desired time, press the
Timer button again to start the countdown
timer.
4.
The display will switch back to clock display while a timer symbol
will be shown in the display.
Once the countdown is finished a buzzer will sound for approximately 1 minute.
To manually stop the countdown buzzer, press the
Timer button once.
Notes:
•
To check how much time is left on the countdown, briefly press the Timer button.
