This Operating Manual is intended to familiarize you with the design, the requirements for safety, operation and
maintenance procedures of the voltage relay RN-122 (hereinafter referred to as the "device", RN-122).
The device meets the requirements of the following:

Terms and abbreviations:
AR (automatic reclosing) interval is the time after which the protected equipment will turn on after the
occurrence of "Voltage failure".

1. SERVICE
1.1. Device service
RN-122 is designed to protect household appliances (equipment) up to 3.6 kW (refrigerators, air conditioners,
washing machines, TV and audio equipment, etc.) against unacceptable mains voltage fluctuations and the
consequences of neutral interruption.
RN-122:
– provides disconnection of the protected equipment if the value of the mains voltage exceeds the limits set by
the user (after the mains parameters are restored, the automatic reclosing will take place (hereinafter referred to as
the “AR” - automatic reclosing);
– indicates the value of the mains voltage and the presence of voltage in the device socket.

Controls and overall dimensions of RN-122 are shown in Fig. 1.

1.3. Operation conditions
The device is intended for operation in the following conditions:
– Ambient temperature: from minus 10 to +45 °С;
– Atmospheric pressure: from 84 to 106.7 kPa;
