Front Panel
1. Mini type B USB Socket. Used for programming of Radio 1 with KPG-141D software. Programming
is covered in the software help files.
2. LCD display showing status or Radio 1
3. TRANSMIT LED. When LED shows green, Radio 1 transmit is ACTIVE.
4. TRANSMIT push button for Radio 1. Press to activate transmission for Radio 1. Press again to
release transmit (de-activate) and enter receive mode.
5. CHANNEL UP button for Radio 1. Pressing selects next highest programmed channel. This button
has no action when Radio 1 transmit is active. This button can also affect Radio 2 - see UNLOCK
button function.
6. CHANNEL DOWN button for Radio 1. Pressing selects next lower programmed channel. This
button has no action when Radio 1 transmit is active. This button can also affect Radio 2 - see
UNLOCK button function.
7. UNLOCK LED. When illuminated green, the channel up and down buttons of each radio are linked.
This synchronises channel up/down between the radios.
8. UNLOCK push button. Pressing selects UNLOCK mode. When UNLOCK LED is illuminated green,
the channel up and down buttons of each radio are linked. This synchronises channel up/down
between the radios. This mode is automatically cancelled if either radio enters TRANSMIT active
mode. UNLOCK cannot be selected if either radio is in TRANSMIT active mode.
9. CHANNEL UP button for Radio 2. Pressing selects next highest programmed channel. This button
has no action when Radio 1 transmit is active. This button can also affect Radio 1 - see UNLOCK
button function.
10. CHANNEL DOWN button for Radio 2. Pressing selects next lower programmed channel. This
button has no action when Radio 1 transmit is active. This button can also affect Radio 1 - see
UNLOCK button function.

15. TALKTHRU LED. When LED is illuminated, TALKTHRU mode is enabled. This mode is only
possible when one radio is in transmit active mode.
16. TALKTHRU push button. Pressing selects TALKTHRU mode. This mode is only possible when one
radio is in transmit active mode. This mode routes the audio output of the receiving radio to the
transmitting radio.
17. R1 PEAK LED. When Radio 1 is in transmit active mode, LED illuminates to show transmitted audio
is present. When Radio 1 is in receive mode, LED illuminates to show presence of received audio.
18. R2 PEAK LED. When Radio 2 is in transmit active mode, LED illuminates to show transmitted audio
is present. When Radio 2 is in receive mode, LED illuminates to show presence of received audio.
19. SUPPLY LED. When illuminated green, the base station has power (from either DC or AC inputs).
