All connector drawings are shown as viewed from the rear of the chassis.
AC Power inlet
Fused IEC C14 inlet. Connect to an AC supply 90-264V, 47-63Hz. For other
frequencies/voltages please consult Raycom. Fuse is 2A 20mm ceramic cartridge
type. Tripping characteristic T (anti surge). A spare may be located in the fuse drawer.

12V DC INPUT
4 Pin XLR Male for connection to 12V (vehicle battery) supply. This input is diode 'OR'ed with the 12V
internal AC power supply module. A DC input of more than 12V will mean the
base station takes its supply from the DC input whether the AC supply is
connected or not. The DC input is protected by a non resetting 15A PCB fuse.
Connecting the wrong (negative) polarity to this input will cause the fuse to fail.
The recommended mating connector is Neutrik NC4FX.
Pin 1 0V – Connected to chassis/ground
Pin 2 No Connection
Pin 3 No Connection
Pin 4 12V DC Input

Audio Inputs
3 Pin XLR female for balanced audio input. Input impedance is 600Ohm. If
unbalanced input is required, connect pin 3 to pin 1. The recommended mating
connector is Neutrik NC3MX.
Pin 1 Ground/screen. Connected to chassis.
Pin 2 Electronically balanced +/hot
Pin 3 Electronically balanced -/cold

Audio Outputs
3 Pin XLR male for balanced audio output. Output impedance is 600Ohm. This
output is not floating. If unbalanced output is required, leave pin 3 unconnected –
do not connect to ground. Output impedance is 300Ohm in this case. The
recommended mating connector is Neutrik NC3FX.
Pin 1 Ground/screen. Connected to chassis.
Pin 2 Electronically balanced +/hot
Pin 3 Electronically balanced -/cold
Radio Control/Interface
9 Pin D-type female. Pins 2/3 require standard RS232C levels. Pins 1,6
& 7 are connected in parallel to the front panel buttons. De-bounce
