circuitry is provided. Do not connect these pins to a voltage source, otherwise damage to the source or base
station may occur. Pin 8 is connected direct to the FNC6 AUX I/O pin of the radio. The function of this pin
can be programmed according to customer requirement.

Pin 5 Ground/screen. Connected to chassis.
Pin 6 Channel UP (momentary connect to ground)

DIP Switches
The DIP switches set the power on state of a number the base station
functions. When either AC or DC power are applied, the base station
will start in the preset state.
1. Radio 1 transmit. Position B, transmit is not active.
Position A, transmit is active.
2. Radio 2 transmit. Position B, transmit is not active.
Position A, transmit is active.
3. TALKTHRU. Position B, TALKTHRU is not active.
Position A, TALKTHRU is active.
4. Not used.
Antenna Connections
BNC female 50Ohm connectors. Transmit/receive for each radio. Connect to a
suitable antenna/filter/duplexer with good quality coaxial cable. Alternatively,
connect to optional internal duplexer module with short U link cables provided.

Duplexer Connections (Optional module)
The optional duplexer module allows connection of the two radios to a single
antenna system. When fitted, link the radio antenna ports to the adjacent duplexer
port with the provided U link cables. The duplexer antenna port should be
connected to the antenna system.
