Finishing the surfaces for the coloring:
To avoid contact between metal and oxy-
gen, corrosion and oxidation, anti corro-
sion coatings are used. After repairing and
cleaning the replaced parts, the surface
should finish for the coloring. Do the follow
-
ing steps to finish the surfaces. First of all
use abrasive with number p320 to remove
the surface defects.
Caution:
Abrasion should be in the specific direc
-
tions. After that it is better to use E.D and
let it to dry (you can use an oven to dry it
at 80°C). Again use the abrasive with the
number p400 to smooth the surface. Then
use p500 and make the surface finished for
coloring.
Caution 1:
Coloring environment should be free of
dust.
Caution 2:
Use standard colors with standard solvents.
Caution 3:
For having homogeneity in the coloring in
old vehicles you can use supplementary in
the solvent. Let it to dry after the coloring.
Then use two layers of starlit and dryer.
After that use abrasive with number 1500-
2000 to remove the coarseness. After that
the surface is ready to polish.
