taping Battery cables together to Reduce inductance
Donotkeepthebatterycablesfarapart.Incaseitisnotconvenienttotwistthecables,
keepthemtapedtogethertoreducetheirinductance.Reducedinductanceofthebat-
tery cables helps to reduce induced voltages. This reduces ripple in the battery cables
and improves performance and efficiency.

WARninG! Preventing Paralleling of the Ac output
1.TheACoutputoftheinvertercannotbesynchronizedwithanotherAC
sourceandhence,itisnotsuitableforparalleling.TheACoutputofthein-
vertershouldneverbeconnecteddirectlytoanelectricalbreakerpanel/load
center which is also fed from the utility power/ generator. Such a connection
willresultinparalleloperationandACpowerfromtheutility/generatorwill
befedbackintotheinverterwhichwillinstantlydamagetheoutputsection
of the inverter and may also pose a fire and safety hazard. If an electrical
breakerpanel/loadcenterisbeingfedfromtheutilitypower/generator
andtheinverterisrequiredtofeedthispanelasbackuppowersource,the
ACpowerfromtheutilitypower/generatorandtheinvertershouldfirstbe
fedtoamanualselectorswitch/AutomaticTransferSwitchandtheoutput
ofthemanualselectorswitch/AutomaticTransferSwitchshouldbecon-
nectedtotheelectricalbreakerpanel/loadcenter.
2.Topreventpossibilityofparallelingandseveredamagetotheinverter,never
useasimplejumpercablewithamaleplugonbothendstoconnecttheAC
output of the inverter to a handy wall receptacle in the home / rV.

ingClass1grounded“Schuko”plugTypeCEE7/7isrequiredonthepowercordfeeding
theACdevicestobeconnectedtotheinverter.Theconstructionofthe“Schuko”recep-
tacle and plug is shown at fig. 8.4 on page 35.
