headphones
The mute controls switch off the signal from the loudspeaker
terminals, the headphone socket and the preamplifier output.
They do not affect the output from the record sockets.
There are two ways of manually muting the output: you can use
the MODE selector on the front panel or you can press the mute
button on the remote control.
An LED on the front panel indicates that the 60iRv is muted.
Turn the MODE selector until the mark on its side points to mute
to switch off the output as described above.
Press the mute button on the remote control to switch the output
on and off

. The output will also switch back on if you turn the
VOLUME knob.
The 60iRv also mutes briefly whenever you change an INPUT or
a MODE until all voltages have stabilized.

Turn the VOLUME down before you connect your headphones.

you should obtain an adaptor from your retailer. Remove the adaptor from the
socket when you are not using the headphones or the output will remain muted
