Burning Smell when first
turned on.
This is normal for first use or for first
use after storing away for some time.
Allow appliance to heat up and the
smell will disappear over a short
period.
Clicking Sound during use
This will be one or both of the internal
Thermostats turning on and off to
maintain a safe operating temperature
of the heater.
This is normal for this type of heater.
Crackling Sound when
heating
Sometimes, the heater can make a
crackling sound when first heating up.
The crackling should stop after a
period of time. If the sound persists,
contact the service department for
further instruction.
Occasional Blue Flashes from
Inside the Heater Panel can
be seen especially in a dark
room.
This is the thermostat switching on and
off while it maintains the room
temperature.
This is not dangerous and is no cause
for alarm. This is normal for this type of
Thermostat.
If after the above checks you believe there is still a fault, contact Customer Support for
assistance.
In warranty, customers should ensure that the above checks have been made before
returning for a refund as a refund may not be granted if the fault is not a mechanical or
electrical breakdown.
