17 Trouble-shooting
17.1 fault diagnosis
Thefollowingchecksshouldbeperformedbeforeproceeding
ontospecificdiagnostics:
• Makesurethattheelectricitysupplyhasnotbeeninterrupted
andthattheapplianceisconnectedcorrectly.
• Ensurethattheisolatingvalvesareopen.
• Checkthatallexternalcontrolsareconnectedcorrectly.

defaultvaluesandtheinstallation-specific
parameterswillbeerased.Thisfaultcan
resultinpooroperationoftheinstallation.In
thecaseofan“E4”fault,replacethecontrol
box.
Communicationsfault
Ifcommunicationbetweenthecontrolbox
andtheheatpumpcontrolcircuitboard
isdisturbed,error“E3”isdisplayedin
theambienttemperaturedisplayarea.In
thiscase,checkthecommunicationcable
betweenthecontrolboxandtheheatpump.
