GROUNDING INSTRUCTIONS
• Foryourprotection,Waring
®
blenders are equipped with a 3-conductor
cordset having a molded 3-prong grounding-type plug, and should be
used in combination with a properly connected grounding-type outlet as
showninFigureA.Ifagrounding-typeoutletisnotavailable,anadapter,
asshowninFigureB,maybeusedtoenablea2-slotwalloutlettobe
used with a 3-prong plug.*
AsshowninFigureC,theadaptermustbegroundedbyattachingits
grounding lug under the screw of the outlet cover plate.
CAUTION:Beforeusinganadapter,itmustbedeterminedthatthe
outletcoverplatescrewisproperlygrounded.Ifindoubt,consulta
licensed electrician.
Never use an adapter unless you are sure it is properly grounded.
*NOTE: Use of an adapter is not permitted in Canada.
NOTE: User-installed cord set plugs are not permitted in Europe.

OPERATION
1. PlugthepowercordintoACoutlet.PresstheOn/Off
button to
turn the unit on. The blue LCD backlight will turn on and the words
WARINGCOMMERCIALwillappear,indicatingthatthepowerison.
After 5 seconds, the blender enters standby mode.
NOTE:Instandbymode,theblenderisawaitingdirectionsandwillread
PRESSANYBUTTONTOBLEND.
2. The motor speed can be adjusted by pressing the
or
Speed
buttons. Speed ranges from 15% to 100%.

The Speed Up
button will increase the motor speed display in 1%
increments and the Speed Down
button will decrease the motor
speeddisplayin1%increments.Holdingdowneitherbuttonwillquickly
scroll through speeds.
Using the Speed Up
and Speed Down
buttons, set desired motor
speed.Ifnospeedisselected,motorwilldefaultto100%.
NOTE:ThemotordoesnotrunatthenewlysetspeeduntiltheStart/
Stop
buttonispressed.IfStart/Stop
button is not pressed
within5seconds,thenewspeedsettingwillbestoredfornextuseand
the blender will return to standby mode; the display will once again read
PRESSANYBUTTONTOBLEND.
3. PressStart/Stop
buttontoturntheblenderon.Blenderwillrun
continuously at the set speed. The LCD will display the motor speed in
percentage. Default speed (percentage) is at 100%. Motor speed can be
changed while blender is running by simply pressing Speed Up
or
Speed Down
button.
4. Tostopcontinuousblendingoperation,pressStart/Stop
button or
press any of the program buttons.
PULSE FEATURES
Your unit comes equipped with two Pulse options: Normal Pulse
and
MaximumPulse
. Note: The Pulse buttons are momentary switches –
once released, the unit will shut off.
1. TouseMaxpulseoption,pressthe
button. This will run the motor
at 150% speed. The LCD will read MAX PULSE SPEED: 150%.
2. To use Normal pulse option, press the
button. This will run the motor
at100%speed.TheLCDwillreadNORMPULSESPEED:100%.
3. The blender allows you to set the pulse to your desired speed. While
blending at Normal pulse speed, the motor can be adjusted. To do this,
hold the
Pulse button and press Speed Up
or Speed Down
